KILDEN is part of LOCA Gruppen, a restaurant group operating a.o the restaurants STUDIO, Almanak i Operaen, and RADIO. At LOCA Gruppen, we aim to create sustainable restaurants and concepts based on our mantra: EVERY MEAL MATTERS
This means that the meals that LOCA Gruppen sends out into the world must make a positive difference. First and foremost, the food must be great. But great food is not enough. The food must also be made in a way that considers the environment and the people working in our restaurants. We are restaurateurs, and we know that our restaurants are not saving the world. We know that no one can do everything, but we also believe that everyone can do something.
Therefore, our conviction is that our restaurants – besides being great places to work – can contribute by shining a light on great, responsible producers, by using local ingredients in season, and by showing how well a sustainable mindset translates onto the plate.
LOCA Gruppen is owned equally by Merete Holst and Dorte Juhl Østergaard. In addition to the restaurants, LOCA Gruppen also runs the canteen company LOCA Kantiner, and the consulting company LOCA Management, consulting within food and sustainable gastronomy.
